We offer a tattoo removal service which is located within the Laser Unit of the Wellington Hospital. Treatment is carried out using a Q-switched Nd Yag laser.
How does it work?
The laser works by breaking down the ink particles into particles small enough for your body to get rid of.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions will be dependent on the size and colour of the tattoo. It may take as little as 4-6 treatments spaced at 12 weekly intervals.
