Facial thread veins and leg veins, port wine stains/red birthmarks and warts can all be treated with vascular laser. The yellow wavelength of light which the laser emits is very specific to oxymaemaglobin within the blood vessel. This is instantly turned to heat energy which seals off the blood vessel without damaging any surrounding tissue. This particular wavelength is also effective in softening the appearance of red, raised unsightly scar tissue.

On average between 3-4 treatments may be required. Laser has a 90% success rate in treating warts. The laser works by selectively destroying the blood vessels that supply the wart as well as thermally destroying the wart itself. This treatment requires approximately 4 treatments spaced at 3 week intervals.
